Forgive me, I keep blogging late at night when I’m exhausted and without words. Again, I let the photos speak for themselves. I think you can tell that this was yet another EPIC [studio]seven wedding experience. :) Thank you, Josh + Jenny for having us be a part of your day!

Have a beautiful and safe weekend!

Another beautiful couple. Another beautiful wedding. *sigh* Life is bliss.

Happiness,

I don’t know where to start with these two. I loved them from the moment I met them. I love their humor, they way they love each other, their openness to ideas and being absolute goofballs. I love that they trusted me to create their wedding invites for them. I love that they got married. I love that they wanted me to bring my son’s light sabers for photo props. I love that they had the single most amazing first dance that I think has ever been witnessed. I love that they honored Steve’s mom with such grace and peace and love as she struggled with the end of a battle against cancer. All in all, these two are precious to a lot of people, including me as their wedding photographer. Thank you, Steve + Jen, for letting me be there to document your wedding day for you! Keep being uber cool, please.

Happiness,
sara.

Meet Jimmy and Stephanie. Another amazing couple who I get the honor of photographing as they marry! We had a great time walking around Minneapolis’ Stone Arch Bridge, watching girls learning to fly with fabric wings, seeing water fall through the mill ruins, talking about the value of having really fantastic eye wear. I loved the time we spent, and I love the photos of your engagement! Enjoy, my new friends!

Have a beautiful day!

I have no voice right now. Literally, it’s gone. And with it went my words as well. So I’m going to be posting a few different sessions tonight, and I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves, and tell you the stories instead of me.

Have a beautiful day.

If you are a photographer, you know what I’m saying when I say it is such an incredible honor to have another photographer ask to photograph her and her family. Laurie is an amazing photographer here in the Cities (check out her website: http://www.laurenbfalk.com/) and her sister was in the states from Italy, so a sister and mom session was the perfect way to celebrate the time together. We had such a good time digging around weird parts of Minneapolis where neither of us have shot before, and the four ladies were so much fun to shoot and chat with! Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Okay, so I have to start this post with just telling you how much I adore Jacob and Meagan. They are such an adorable couple, and Meagan was as excited about the engagement shoot as I was, so I knew it was going to be amazing! These two beautiful people are getting married this fall, and I’m so excited for their wedding…if Meagan’s attention to detail in the planning of the engagement session is any indication of the kind of wedding it will be — it’s going to be out of this world wonderful. Here are a few favorites from the shoot:

I’m a sucker for wet nose kisses and puppies that play with sticks. And it’s even better when there are two puppies, and they are best friends. This was such a fun session to capture, and I’m so glad that I was able to do it. One of the dogs is currently fighting cancer (and winning so far!) so this session was uber special.

Pets are such an incredible part of our families, and it’s such a joy to be able to slow down the time we have with them to remember how they played and how they flung their drool everywhere when we scratch behind their ears the right now. It’s the little things that mean a lot after the short season that we have with these special creatures.

Meet Cael and Silas. Dogs extraordinaire.

Happiness and puppy kisses,
sara.
